Introduction To Drawing

·       Drawing is the representation of any object into 2-dimensional sheet. The object maybe real existing of may be result of relative idea of an engineer, technician or designer of imaginary ideas.

    There are two types of drawing:

1.    Artistic Drawing

2.    Engineering Drawing

  1. Artistic Drawing: The drawing prepared by an artist such as paintings, slides etc.                                                  depending upon his/her mood are called artistic Drawing.

2. Engineering Drawing: The drawing of engineering objects such as buildings, roads,         machine, etc. prepared by an engineer or designer on the basic of certain rules and regulations is called engineering drawing.

    -Further it is classified into three types:

 Freehand sketch: In freehand sketch, the lines are sketched without using instrument                                         other than the pencil and eraser.

Instrumental drawing: In this drawing, different instrument is used to draw objects shape                                         and size such as circles, curves accurately.

 Computer Aided Drawing: In this drawing, objects are prepared by commercial                                                              software such as AutoCAD, SOLID works etc.
